What is 5th Generation?
Fifth-generation warfare (5GW) is warfare that is conducted primarily through non-kinetic military action, such as social engineering, misinformation, cyberattacks, along with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and fully autonomous systems. Fifth generation warfare has been described by Daniel Abbot as a war of "information and perception"
The 1648 treaty of Westphalia marked what military historian William Lind classified as the beginning of his four generations of war as a framework for understanding modern warfare. A summary of the generations are:
First Generation (1648 - 1860) - Battles were fought in lines (columns). Military and civilians were distinguished by uniforms and top down order.
Second Generation (1850 - 1940) - Battles were defensive. Lines were drawn. Artillery and reconnaissance techniques dominate. War of territorial occupation and attrition.
Third GW (1940 - current) - Emphasis and speed and tactics over power and position. Orders and decision making pushed from high ranking officials to lower tier leadership.
Forth GW (1989 - current) - Use of non state actors, terrorism and guerrilla tactics to achieve objectives. Emergence of non kinetic warfare. Military and civilians are practically indistinguishable. Order is bottom up.
Fifth GW (present) - Endless war. Your enemies a invisible. Truth and lies are indistinguishable. You probably don’t even realize there is a war. Those kinds of wars are especially hard to win.
"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ H. L. Mencken
On Financial Warfare…
War’s are expensive. They consume nearly everything around them. They keep unemployment low with nothing to show for it. Businessmen, industries and bankers experience inevitable windfall in the mass consumption of goods and services they produce so long as they are producing wartime things and remain in good graces with their allies (the extremely powerful need only do the prior).
"The normal profits of a business concern in the United States are six, eight, ten, and sometimes twelve percent. But war-time profits - ah! that is another matter - twenty, sixty, one hundred, three hundred, and even eighteen hundred per cent - the sky is the limit." ~ Smedley Butler
If you purchase and investment on financial advice you didn’t pay for from a person you didn’t know, the chances that you are the victim of someone else’s sales scheme is very high.
Build Your Radio & Command Your Future
Propaganda is a critical tool to keep the masses unaware and distracted of critical information (tells) that can predict the direction of the wealth transfer events. The most popular tool to this end is inflation. Inflation is financial war on the unsuspecting masses.
The individual person has more access to financial data and information than ever. Most of it is virtually free. Yet almost no one invests better than years past.
Markets are information signals. An investor or financial professional should be out to construct the best radio he can for himself and his clients. If clarity can be gleaned from the data of the markets, value accumulation is relatively simple.
